Towards a Bright Future

It is  common practice that any sports club caters for the development  of participants athletic and sport abilities.  These  qualities are generally prioratised .  Continuous Professional Development and Education within Sirens swim school  takes this one step further by taking on a more holistic approach and by  integrating within the programmes educational  targets such as inclusion, differentiation, childrens’ rights to equal and adequate opportunities for learning, coach professional development & equal opportunities for all .

Investment in an individual’s education is the most effective  and needed  approach  towards betterment and  personal development. Sirens swimpolo club’s mission is to continue working towards children’s growth within an educational sport environment. With this mission and objective Sirens swimpolo club is launching its new project; Towards a Brighter Future (TBF).

The aims of this project is to raise funds which are immediately invested in the educational development and progression of participants within our swim polo club and by doing so giving the donors a sense of pride in being part of the sporting and educational successes of individuals and club.

The philosophy of this project is grounded in issues of integration, non discriminatory issues, and equal opportunities for all. The funds generated from this project go towards the needs of children within our training programmes. Participants across the different sectors are helped in ways which boost their holistic athletic experiences.  Our aim is to have all participants having equal opportunities to attend training and be part of the swim club without discrimination and irrelevant of ethnic, socio-cultural backgrounds  and are given the opportunities to form part of a club, to be part of a social group of friends and so help build confidence and self esteem.

Sirens welcomes all those persons who have at their heart, youth and sport development and believe in equal opportunities for all to take an active role within this project and become proud donors for this educational cause. All investors will be kept informed on the ways their contributions are being invested and utilised as it is one of the most important investments a club can make in its’ people and its’ future.
