Sirens Finished on top of the Table



Sirens Swimming Team moved from strength to strength over the three days of the Easter International Meets. They were up against some strong competition from 19 different clubs including foreigners.

Competition was high and it was a battle throughout the meet between Sirens and Tiro a Volo Nuoto from Italy and in the end Sirens finished on top of the table with 31 Gold, 22 Silver, 16 Bronze Medals and multiple personnel bests. Their dedication to the sport and our club has resulted in some incredible achievements.

Three athletes  Buhagiar Kyle, Calleja Issac, Spiteri Rudi making Easter Meet Records. Great breakthrough achievements was from our Junior skill athlete Andrea Mallia in an amazing 200m breaststroke swim lowering his own age group record by 06.23 of a second.

Our swimmers Tanti Leah, Ceccarelli Charis, Falzon Young Francesca, Umnov Michael, Zammit Matthew  Bugeja Jeremy and Buhagiar Kyle also helped the National Team wins three medals and establish a new national record in the mens 4×100 m freestyle.
