Daniela Deguara Gatt – Assitant Head Coach

Daniela Deguara  is in her final year in B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics & Physics at the University of Malta.

She have finished reading a part time course  – Pre-Tertiary Certificate in the Foundations of Coaching at the Institute of Physical Education and Sport at the University of Malta – in June, as well as the Basic Swimming Coaching Course organised by the ASA of Malta, and renewal of the First Aid course.

Daniela is swim coach with extensive knowledge of teaching, learning, training, and motivational techniques. Her training focuses on core aquatic skills, improving confidence in water, and the main concepts of the four stokes.

Her coaching with different age abilities and ages is holistic, helping athletes develop intellectual, physical, and psychological skills resulting in enhanced performance and a keen love of the sport.
