Sirens beat Marsascala in a hotly contested match

Sirens earned a hardly fought victory against a plucky Marsascala side who were always in contention throughout the match although they did not win a single session. Sirens shaded the final three sessions with the first ending 2-2. Both teams had their foreign players in good form with Botond and Koralji keeping the Southseasiders in contention while Sirens also had Varga and Vasovic scoring regularly.

Sirens forged ahead at the end of the second session and maintained their advantage stretching it two three by the end of the match which ended 14-11 with the St paul’s Bay team with maximum points after two games and Marsascala losing their three opening matches.
